Pickering Community Park

A new jewel to Pickering’s crown is the Pickering Community Park which can be found up at Woodlands Park on the edge of Pickering on the Whitby Road.  With a sizeable wooden adventure playground based on the themes of castles and trains, the equipment is suitable for young toddlers and older children alike with some more accessible pieces for disabled children, enabling everyone to join in the fun!

There’s also an outdoor gym area for those that like to stay active on their holidays with tracks circumnavigating the park suitable for running or walking.  The Pickering Community Park is home to the Junior Park Run which meets every Sunday at 9am.

Visiting keen runners are always welcome.
