All The Fun Of Dalby Forest

With 13 walking trails, including easy access, six cycling trails and four running trails, the Great Yorkshire Forest has all you need for everything from a full day of family fun to a high speed blast in mountain biking heaven. Start your day at the visitor centre in Low Dalby to find out more and plan your day.  Grab a coffee and a bite to eat from the centre’s cafe and take your pick from the activities on offer. Hire a mountain bike from Dalby Forest Cycle Hub and head out onto the more sedate trails or the advanced rider routes. Take a gentle stroll through the trees along the Ellerburn Trail and wind your way back to Low Dalby.

Take the kids to the play area and to paddle in the stream before treating them to ice cream.

Head to Go Ape to tackle the high ropes or the low ropes, or take a forest tour on a Segway. Enjoy a walk around the lake at Low Staindale before venturing further along the forest drive up to Adderstone Field, where you’ll find another play area, the Enchanted Wood, Dixon’s Hollow bike skills park and Dalby Activity Centre, where you can get the adrenaline pumping with laser combat, tree climbing, archery and more.

That’s just a taste of what’s on offer at Dalby Forest. Whatever you’re into, it really is a brilliant day out.
