Description
There are monthly evening art demonstrations by professional artists, in a variety of media, usually on the 2nd Thursday of the month from 7 to 9pm. (Except September and December.) A practical session is held each month, on the 3rd Wednesday evening. There are also two workshops for members, one in Spring and the other in Autumn. We take part in many Outdoor Painting Days during the summer from moorland villages to York and the coast. These are very informal, great fun and very helpful for honing your artistic skills. (Coffee, cakes and ice-creams are usually involved!)
Our work is proudly displayed during the 9 day Annual Exhibition in September, where we encourage all members to exhibit, no matter what their level of experience. 3D artwork is also very welcome.
