Neighbouring town, Kirkbymoorside, is the home to Ryedale Auctioneers. Owner and local auctioneer Angus Ashworth, now has his own TV series as well as appearing as a regular expert on the BBC’s Antiques Road Trip. Angus works from the auction house with his team who assist him with house clearances up and down the country. A variety of auctions are scheduled throughout the year including specialist sales alongside regular antiques and collectors sales.
